Former defense minister Avigdor Liberman has congratulated Aviv Kochavi on the start of his term as chief of staff of the Israel Defense Forces.
The Yisrael Beytenu Party chairman said, "One of the most important decisions I made during my term as defense minister was the election of the chief of staff. I am sure that Kochavi will lead the IDF with determination and professionalism."
