Canada has issued a travel warning for China, claiming arbitrary law enforcement following the death sentence handed out to a Canadian who appealed a 15-year drug sentence.
The death penalty may be appealed. Ties between the two countries have been tense since December, when Canadian authorities arrested senior a Chinese citizen for extradition to the United States.
