Chairman Arnon Bar David of the Ma'of Federation of municipal administration workers announced on Monday a labor dispute in the Haifa municipality over deterioration in the working conditions of sanitation workers and a reduction in the number of kindergarten assistants.
The declaration allows the federation to take organizational steps to the point where 5,500 affected employees can strike at the end of the two-week cooling-off period.
