The chairman of the "Hosen Leyisrael" party, former chief of staff Benny Gantz, met Monday with the leaders of the Druze protest and for the first time since the election campaign began he addressed controversial issues.
Gantz spoke with the head of the protest and said, "We have a blood pact but no less than that we have a covenant of life, we have to make sure that together we build this partnership and this alliance as a life covenant as it should be."
"I will do everything in my power to work for the correct amendment of the legislation that will express the deep and indestructible bond not only between in battle but also in life, not only in difficulty but also in good," Gantz added.
