Addressing a farewell event at the Kirya Defense Ministry headquarters in Tel Aviv, Eisenkot said, "In the past four years, we have been working non-stop to ensure the strength of the IDF. We expanded the scope of the regular and reserve forces' training, we improved the quality of our training and strengthened our operational capabilities. Together, we have established superiority, improved intelligence capabilities, and brought a significant leap forward in all sectors, in order to ensure the army's readiness for war."
