The Jerusalem District Attorney's Office filed an indictment against Samuel Talhon (20), David Mengistu (21), and another defendant (a 17-year-old minor) for attempted murder. The State Prosecutor's Office seeks to extend their remand until the end of legal proceedings against them.
According to the indictment, on the evening of December 9 the defendants and others began to move toward the residential buildings where the complainants, with whom they were at odds, lived. The defendants were equipped with various expedient weapons, including sticks and a glass bottle.
When one of the complainants left the building, the defendants attacked him, knocked him to the floor, choked him, and stabbed him many times with the intention of causing his death.
