Israeli Border Police arrested an Arab suspected of shooting at a Border Police base in Abu Dis in Binyamin.

Intelligence and operational activity led to the arrest of the suspect, a resident of Abu Dis in his 30s. He allegedly fired at one of the base positions causing no casualties. After several attempts to bring about his arrest, he was found in the Ma'aleh Adumim area.

"Border Police will continue, together with the various security organizations, to prevent terrorism and to arrest those who carry out it in order to harm the lives of combatants and civilians," a statement said.

Last week, four pipe bombs were detonated at a Border Police base in Abu Dis, only one of which exploded without damage and without casualties.
