Likud Knesset candidate Nir Barkat has responded to the sentence of the terrorist who planned to kill him and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu by saying, "I want to personally thank the Shabak Israel Security Agency and the security forces who brought to justice the abominable terrorist who planned to hurt Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and me."
The former mayor of Jerusalem added, "I said then, I also say today: Nothing will deter us. We will continue to act with determination, according to our worldview, to strengthen the State of Israel and its eternal capital, Jerusalem."
