The Lebanese Al-Maydeen network, which is close to Hezbollah, confirmed on Wednesday that the closing of the Rafah crossing between Egypt and Gaza resulted in the postponement of the visit of Hamas political bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh to Moscow.
Earlier it was reported that Haniyeh's visit to Moscow was postponed indefinitely. Egypt closed the Rafah crossing earlier this week after Palestinian Authority officials left the crossing amid ongoing disagreements with Hamas.
