A vehicle that illegally crossed a railway track near Kfar Yehoshua after the warning signals and roadblock was lowered was lightly damaged by a passing train after the train operator performed an emergency braking procedure. Israel Railways, Israel Police and rescue forces are at the scene.
For the moment, at police instruction, there are changes in railway traffic on the train line: Trains from the direction of Beit She'an will finish their journey at the Kfar Yehoshua station; trains from Atlit will begin and end their journey at the Haifa Central Bus Station. A shuttle system is available to passengers between the Haifa Merkaz Hashmonah and Kfar Yehoshua stations.
