As of today, it is obligatory for electric cyclists to wear a helmet while riding, at any age and on all roads.
The law that was approved a few days ago in the Knesset requires all electric cyclists to wear a helmet during riding, on urban and interurban roads.
The fine for not wearing a helmet while riding an electric bicycle is currently NIS 250, and is soon expected to increase to NIS 1,000.
