Herzliya Chief Rabbi Yitzchok Jakobovits passed away at the age of 89.
Rabbi Jakobovits was sent to serve as Rabbi of Herzliya by the Chazon Ish zt"l and Rabbi Kahanman zt"l. He was one of the first students of the Rosh Yeshiva of Ponevezh Yeshiva, Rabbi Gershon Edelstein.
