MK Robert Ilatov (Yisrael Beiteinu) responded to the splitting of Ahmed Tibi and the Taal party from the Joint List party, saying:
" I congratulate MK Tibi on his decision to leave the Joint list, I wish him success. I hope that MK Tibi and his new list will run for parliament in Ramallah instead of the Israeli Knesset."
