President Reuven Rivlin has eulogized former minister and ambassador Moshe Arens, saying, "You had two wonderful abilities, the ability to dream, and the ability to realize, to be a man of action who knows how to carry things out."
Rivlin referred to the Lithuanian-born Arens as "Dear Misha, one of our oldest brothers, a teacher and rabbi to many, many in the liberal national camp, and I among of them. A Beitar man, among the generation of giants, scientists and statesmen, among the best in our leadership and one of the most important leaders of the liberal national movement. A brave and loving man. An ideologue who did not bend over and surrender to popularity and comfort. A Zionist in all his limbs, a man in the service of the people and never the opposite."
