2 MKs respond to PM speech with his "there was nothing" rhetoric

Chairwoman Tamar Zandberg of the Meretz Party and Member of Knesset Amir Peretz (Labor) have criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's media declaration by using a variation on his claim of innocence from corruption charges, "There will be nothing [no charges -ed.] because there was nothing [no crime]."

Saying "There is nothing because there was nothing," about the billing of the speech as "dramatic", Zandberg added, "The only dramatic thing here was a prime minister who continues to serve under the recommendation of [prosecution in] three bribery cases. Until Netanyahu resigns, this is election propaganda that is inappropriate for the broadcast." Peretz said, "We did not see drama. We saw a cynical message that exploits the media."
