Rwanda's national carrier, Rwanda Air, will operate direct flights between Rwanda and Israel for the first time, following Monday's signing of an aviation agreement between Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz and Rwandan Ambassador to Israel Joseph Rotabana.
According to the agreement, each country can operate up to seven scheduled flights a week between Ben-Gurion Airport and Rwandan capital Kigali, without any limitation on the capacity or types of aircraft. Ambassador Rotabana informed Minister Katz that the airline intends to operate the new line in the coming months.
