In the north due to the snow storm a number of roads have been closed and police are diverting traffic to prevent accidents.
Police units are in the area of highway 978, 99, 98. Extra units will respond to emergency calls in the area as conditions continue.
Police Emergency and rescue units are on standby in the north in the areas leading up to the Golan Heights and the Mount Hermon.
