In recent months, three delegations from Iraq have visited Israel under a heavy veil of secrecy - the last of them in the last month, according to Channel 2 News.
A total of three delegations arrived in Israel with 15 influential people in Iraq, including local, Sunni and Shi'ite religious leaders. Members of the delegation met with Israeli officials and their tours were of a sociocultural nature: among other things, they visited the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum and met with academics and organizations related to Iraqi Jewry.
