An indictment was filed in the Nazareth District Court against Shimon Elbaz, 27, of Tiberias, who was charged with the murder of David Amoyal about three months ago.

According to the indictment, the two arrived at the synagogue to swear over a Torah scroll after an argument. When they saw it was closed they returned to Elbaz's house, where the argument reignited and Elbaz attacked Amoyal and stabbed him with a knife in his upper body and head.
