Croatia's Defense Ministry has issued an unusual statement saying that the state has formally asked Israel to inform it by January 11th whether it intends to supply F-16s to the former Yugoslav republic as part of a deal.
The ministry said that the responsibility for obtaining permission from the United States to supply the planes was Israel's.
