Matan Peleg, CEO of Im Tirtzu who together with the Choosing Life Forum of bereaved families have led the effort to crack down on the benefits of imprisoned terrorists, responded to the news:
"We congratulate Minister Erdan on this correct move and are pleased that the outcry of all the bereaved families and prison guards who turned to us over the past year was not in vain," said Peleg.
"Only a real deterrence package can harm the motivation of would-be terrorists, and that is why we must put an end to all the lavish benefits enjoyed by terrorists in prison. This is an important day in the struggle against terrorism."
