The Movement for Quality Government on Wednesday appealed to the state comptroller and attorney general to examine the economic behavior of Minister Bennett as chairman of the Jewish Home Party before the minister receives funding for a new party.

"A situation in which a party chairman resigns when the party has many debts and is in a deep deficit, but is given the opportunity to establish a new party that receives funding for elections, is an absurd situation that harms the state treasury, party members and the public as a whole."
