MK Oren Hazan (Likud) came to the Hebrew University in Jerusalem following the publication of a lecturer in which a student who came to a class on IDF uniform was harassed by an Arab student and called a "War Criminal". after confronting the professor the professor proceeded to blame the incident on the soldier claiming it was her fault for wearing the uniform.
"In Israel we respect everyone and do not insult and hurt people, so woe to us that we will not honor the heroic soldiers of the IDF. From the day it was established, and today, the fate of the State of Israel is intertwined with the fate of the IDF, and there is no separation between any institution or body in the State of Israel and the IDF.
