Tomer Pines, head of the Labor Party's Young Guard, announced on Tuesday in a Facebook video that he plans to run in the Labor primaries for a spot on its list for the next Knesset.
Pines criticized the dismantling of the Zionist Union, saying, "[Avi] Gabbay erred twice in his decision to dismantle the unity between Labor and Hatnuah, and in the violent way in which he did so. This is not the news the Israeli public was waiting for from the party that is supposed to lead the democratic and sane camp."
