Meretz Party Chairwoman Tamar Zandberg has responded to the breakup of the Zionist Union by saying, "It turns out [Opposition Leader Tzipi] Livni is too left for [Labor Party Chairman Avi] Gabbay, who is proving again that he is incapable of leading the camp."
Zandberg concluded, "I call on all leftists to join Meretz, which will lead the leftist bloc in the upcoming elections."
