The first Israeli baby of 2019 was a boy, born to Noa Touito from Givat Ze'ev at 1:00 am at Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital. A short time later, Meital Trozman of Tzur Hadassah gave birth to a son at Hadassah Ein Kerem.
In the past year a record 13,025 births were recorded at Hadassah hospitals, with an all-time high in December.
