In enforcement activities to mark the start of the civil year, police caught 58 drivers under the influence of alcohol Monday evening.
The police reported that about 300 drivers were arrested during the evening for traffic violations, including 127 drivers who were caught speeding. A 20-year-old from the south was caught at a speed of 199 kilometers per hour on Highway 6. His license was suspended for 30 days.
