Chairman Aryeh Deri of the Sephardic haredi-religious Shas Party said, Monday, "We will recommend [Binyamin] Netanyahu as prime minister" after the April Knesset elections, in which the Likud has a substantial lead, according to this week's polls.
Deri explained, "This is the best government we have had from a social standpoint and from the standpoint of the [religious] status quo."
