The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs is trying to explain the incident in which the Minister of Information stepped on a flag of Israel.
A ministry spokesman said, "This is a private building that the minister entered from the main entrance to participate in an official meeting." The meeting took place in a building of one of the trade unions, which deliberately placed a carpet in the shape of an Israeli flag at the entrance to it. As a result, most of the ministers entered the building from a side entrance.
