The FBI on Thursday charged Aaron Rosner, a haredi man from Brooklyn, with assisting the Lev Tahor cult in kidnapping a 12-year-old and a 14-year-old from their family in upstate New York, and conspiring to transport them to Mexico.
According to the FBI, the children’s mother was a member of the cult but escaped it after it became increasingly extreme.
