In a post on Twitter, MK Yair Lapid condemned the vandalism of the tomb of Attorney General Avi Mandelbit's father, writing:
"Another line was crossed today when deplorables vandalized the tomb of the Attorney general's father. It's not just shouting outside the synagogue--these are the acts of injustice. In order to maintain democracy and rule of law, the Prime Minister and the Minister of Internal Security must act and bring these criminals to a judge.
