Police arrested a 33-year-old man from Lod on suspicion of assaulting an 81-year-old woman and stealing a bag from her.
The investigation revealed that the woman withdrew cash from a bank in Lod and when she reached the entrance to her building, the suspect approached her, pulled the bag from her. His remand was extended by five days.
