A source in the Turkish Foreign Ministry says Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has assured Russian Ambassador Alexei Yerkhov that Turkey won't provide the United States with the opportunity to study S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems Turkey is due to receive in the near future, according to Russia's Sputnik news site.
Çavuşoğlu tweeted on Wednesday he had met with Yerkhov, but did not provide details on the agenda. Earlier Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar categorically rejected reports by Bloomberg that Bloomberg that Turkey had offered the US to explore the system.
