The head of the Coordination and Liaison Administration in Gaza, Colonel Iyad Sarhan, issued an appeal to the residents of the Gaza Strip on the Facebook page in Arabic of the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, not to take part in terrorist attacks on the border fence with Israel.
Colonel Sarhan wrote, "Keeping your distance from the fence area, and thus preserve your safety."
