Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu tried to advance the reduction of the electoral threshold before the elections, according to Army Radio.
According to the report, the Prime Minister turned to several of the coalition leaders Tuesday and asked them to amend the law even before the Knesset was dissolved, so that it would affect the upcoming elections - and was rejected.
It was also reported that Netanyahu's office denied the allegations.
