Zionist Union MK Itzik Shmuli condemned his counterparts amid rumors that multiple faction MKs are considering joining the rival Meretz party.
"I can't think of the possibility of a split that would lead to a fatal blow to the party and the chance of all of us to bring about a change of government because of personal ambitions," said Shmuli. "The Zionist Union is the flagship party of the left-wing bloc and every split would be like getting a bullet in the leg."
