Meretz MK Michal Rozin exulted after the Knesset passed a law determining that women who murder their abusive husbands will now receive a lighter sentence.
"This is a historic precedent in the Israeli legal book - after two years I have been fighting the Constitution Committee so that the reform of the death penalty will recognize the situation of women who have experienced violence at home," said Rozin.
