A fire broke out, Tuesday afternoon, in a residential building on Baron Hirsch Street in Jerusalem. Residents living in and near the building were evacuated by firefighters and rescue personnel.
As a result of the blaze, a number of gas tanks caught fire, causing heavy damage to two apartments that went up in flames. In addition, the entire building was filled with thick smoke. Firefighters continued to search for trapped people.
