Israeli public television anchorwoman Geula Even has announced that Monday night's broadcast was her last.
Even is the wife of former minister Gid'on Saar, who is returning to politics after an absence related to their marriage and the birth of their first child. While she did not give a reason, Even's resignation is presumably to avoid a conflict of interest during the upcoming election campaign. Saar said, "I love you and I'm proud of you."
