A senior official in the White House has told Arutz Sheva that he believes the announcement of early elections in Israel is "one of the factors" on the timing of President Donald Trump's publication of his "deal of the century" between Israel and the Palestinian Authority.
Another US official said it appeared clear to the administration that it would not be possible to publish the plan until the next government was formed because President Trump would not be interested in publishing his plan, which could also affect the election.
