Minister Yuval Steinitz has accused the behavior of the haredi-religious parties and Member of Knesset Yair Lapid regarding the Israel Defense Forces recruitment law of leading to early elections.
Interviewed by FM 103 Radio, the Likud lawmaker said, "The story with the haredim and the back flop of [the] Yesh Atid [Party], which committed itself to supporting the recruitment law and suddenly regretted it, led to the early elections. It's going to be not easy, but we will win the next elections even with [Prime Minister Binyamin] Netanyahu."
