Prof. Amir Yaron will enter the post of Governor of the Bank of Israel today, after President Reuven Rivlin signs the letter of appointment at a ceremony to be held at his residence.
Yaron is an American-Israeli economist who served as a professor of banking and finance at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
