In light of the anticipated pulling back in the increase in electricity tariffs, which affect the costs in the water sector, the Water Authority Council has approved the moderation of the increase in water prices for the home, accordingly.
As of January, the tariff for the recognized quantity (the low tariff) will be 6.88 shekels per cubic meter instead of 6.608, an increase of almost three percent. The tariff for each additional quantity beyond the recognized quantity will be NIS 12.955 per cubic meter instead of 12.443, an increase of about four percent.
