Education Minister Naftali Bennett sounded a calming note Saturday evening in response to the news of the US pullout from Syria.
"[This is a] meaningful decision," Bennett, who is a member of the Security Cabinet, told Channel 10 news. "As far is Israel is concerned, this is not a good development, but there is no need for alarm. The US's force is more important in the economic sanctions against Iran. We know how to defend ourselves on our own. We will continue the operations vis-à-vis Syria and we will push Iran out of it."
