Evacuees from the Samarian Jewish community of Amona who placed caravans on the lands that were evacuated two years ago after they purchased the property at full price have rejected Attorney General Avichai Mandleblit's statement that the lands do not belong to them.

Amona Chairman Avichai Boaron said, "Mandelblit will not confuse us. The purchases in Amona were duly executed and will be approved by the professional bodies in the Civil Administration. We are waiting for Defense Minister and Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to approve their registration under our name. This approval is a political-diplomatic endorsement and Netanyahu must give it." He added, "This is ours. We bought it at full price and Netanyahu cannot prevent us from using the 40 dunam that we purchased for millions of shekels."
