Director-general Shahar Ayalon of the Israel Railways claims that the chairman of the board of directors is acting to remove him from his position in an illegal proceeding.
According to Ayalon, Chairman Dan Harel moved discussion regarding his dismissal from the position today. It was supposed to take place in two weeks. Ayalon added that the fact that Harel did not invite him to the meeting of the board of directors in order to allow him to address his claims attests to "the fact that the move is fundamentally unacceptable."
