Attorney Amit Hadad, a lawyer for Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, has responded to the reports last night that the State Prosecutor's Office is recommending that Netanyahu be tried for bribery in two corruption investigations.

Hadad told Israel Defense Forces Radio, "The statements made by the prime minister yesterday morning led to the flood of leaks from the State Prosecutor's Office in the evening, all of which were intended to apply improper pressure on the attorney general. There is no other purpose." Haddad said no indictment would be filed in one of the cases, explaining, "What minister cannot approve a deal that all the relevant officials have confirmed?"
