Intelligence Minister Yisrael Katz responded, Thursday, to the withdrawal of United States forces from Syria by saying, "From the point of view of the Kurds, this is a serious blow. Luckily, Israel is not the Kurds."
Interviewed by Israeli public radio, Katz said, "The withdrawal is very significant when it comes to removing the barrier between Syria and Iraq. We are taking care of our interests."
