Soldiers in the haredi "Netzach Yehuda" Battalion were reportedly infuriated after the Shin Bet internal security service confiscated their weapons before a visit by Prime Minister Netanyahu this week in what is a highly irregular security measure,

The Shin Bet said in response that "all the security arrangements in the incident, including the method of checking the public, were fully coordinated with the IDF and are based on an agreed procedure of cooperation between the bodies and subject to assessment of the situation."
