Rabbi Yehuda Deri sent a letter to the Ramon family, in which he criticized Rona Ramon's decision to be cremated.
"I was shocked to hear that the deceased wanted to be cremated. I appeal to you to consider this decision and to respect her honor and bring her to the grave of Israel where she will rest in peace."
